SUMMARY:2026 YSU Pete's Pride at Streetscape
DESCRIPTION:Join Pete’s Pride in volunteering for the 29th annual Streetscape Planting Day! Since 2005\, alumni and friends have been making an impact on the beautification of downtown Youngstown. Pete’s Pride is known for having one of the largest groups at Streetscape\, and we need your help to continue our record! \n\n\n\nAlumni\, friends and volunteers of all ages are welcome to be part of a rewarding morning as we plant flowers\, mulch\, and clean up our assigned downtown location from 9:00am until noon. Breakfast will be served starting at 8:00am at Penguin City Brewery\, with a debriefing before work begins at 9:00am. Lunch will be back at Penguin City starting at 12:00pm. \n\n\n\nDon’t miss this fun opportunity to make a visible difference on behalf of YSU. Sign up to join us! Enjoy Penguin camaraderie with family and friends during a delicious picnic in the right field Picnic Garden at 5:30 p.m.  \n\n\n\nYour reservation includes a box seat ticket when the Scrappers take on the West Virginia Black Bears at 7:17 p.m. Optional YSU/Scrappers branded t-shirts may be added to your reservation.  \n\n\n\nThe menu includes hot dogs\, BBQ pulled pork sandwiches\, mac & cheese\, potato salad\, chips\, cookies\, water and soft drinks. Wear your red and white to show your YSU spirit!  \n\n\n\nReservations are due by 5pm on Friday\, June 5\, 2026. Tickets will be emailed or texted to you.
