DESCRIPTION:Pete’s Pride volunteers are needed to assist with directing guests to reserved seating prior to the Thomas Colloquium Lecture Ben Sherwood on Monday\, March 11\, The Centofanti Symposium featuring Thomas Gabor & Fred Guttenberg on Wednesday\, March 20\, and the Skeggs Lecture featuring Cris Carter on Wednesday\, April 17. All the lectures will be held at Stambaugh Auditorium.Volunteers will arrive at 5:30 p.m. for instruction. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. The lecture begins at 7:00 p.m.\, at which time volunteers are free to watch the presentation. Standing and a professional demeanor is required. Volunteers are encouraged to wear business professional dress in red or black colors if possible

DESCRIPTION:Celebrate March Madness with fellow YSU alumni and cheer on our Penguin men’s basketball team in the Horizon League Quarterfinals. \n\n\n\nEnjoy a buffet style dinner on the West Deck featuring fan favorites from Belleria\, including hotdogs\, pizza\, salad\, chips\, cookies\, and a soft drink. Attendees can purchase additional soft drinks or alcoholic beverages from the private beverage cart. In the event of overwhelming ticket sales\, the dinner may be moved to Room 119\, located in the lower level of Beeghly Center. \n\n\n\nThere will be plenty of friendly faces\, delicious food and fun\, so come join us! \n\n\n\nThe price is $10. Game tickets are required and must be purchased separately through YSUSports.com. Game tickets start at $15. YSU student tickets are free with a valid YSU student ID. DESCRIPTION:Chapter dinner \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe will be meeting at Carrabba’s (8771 W. Charleston Blvd.\, Las Vegas\, NV 89117) on Thursday\, February 1\, 2024\, at 6:00 p.m for our Las Vegas YSU Alumni Chapter Dinner. Alumni\, Penguin friends\, and fans are invited! \n\n\n\nNow\, here’s the catch. The manager told me that the computer system wentdown when they tried to ring up separate checks for the banquet menu soTHERE WILL BE ONE BILL FOR THE MEALS. EACH PERSON WILL NEED TO BRING $35 IN CASH FOR THEIR MEAL. The $35 includes tax and gratuity on the meal.I will be responsible for paying the meal bill. We can order alcohol and pay for those drinks separately since the drinks are on the menu. It made sense to the manager so I guess it makes sense to me. \n\n\n\nHere is the menu from which you will choose that evening: \n\n\n\n\nChicken Parmesan– sautéed chicken coated with Mama Mandola’s bread crumbs topped with Pomodoro sauce\, romano\, and mozzarella cheese.\n\n\n\nChicken Marsala–wood-grilled chicken topped with mushrooms and our Lombardo Marsala wine sauce.\n\n\n\nPenne Carrabba–penne pasta tossed in Alfredo sauce with wood-grilledchicken\, sautéed mushrooms\, and peas.\n\n\n\nGrilled Salmon–wood-grilled salmon topped with lemon-butter sauce\, tomato\,and basil.\n\n\n\nPork Chop Marsala–wood-grilled\, bone-in pork chop topped with mushrooms and Lombardo wine sauce.\n\n\n\n\nEach meal comes with a choice of Caesar salad or Italian salad\, or soup\,fresh bread with herbs and olive oil\, an alcohol-free beverage\, and minicannoli. The main meal also comes with choice of sides (vegetables\, pasta\, or mashed potatoes). \n\n\n\nI need to give them a count on January 25\, 2024\, so please RSVP to me by emailing your name\, YSU graduation year\, and how many you are bringing and their names before Janurary 25\, 2024.
