The Judith Rae Solomon Gallery, located in YSU’s Bliss Hall, will welcome guest artist Katie Davis to YSU as she exhibits her work, titled “Domestic Instinct,” in the gallery through Friday, Sept. 20.
Davis’s exhibit explores the creative power that can be found in domestic spaces and the everyday materials of human lives. She is interested in the transformation of mundane materials into something new through the use of the visual language of painting and abstraction.
