Youngstown State University is experiencing a significant surge in enrollment for Fall 2024, defying national trends. With a total headcount of 12,164 students, YSU has achieved a notable 10.7% increase from last year’s enrollment of 10,993, marking the university’s largest enrollment since 2018.
This impressive growth includes an 11.4% increase in undergraduate students and an 8.1% increase in graduate students. Full-time equivalent (FTE) enrollment also saw a boost, rising by 7.5% compared to Fall 2023.
