YSU hosts America250 lecture on Alexander Hamilton

Youngstown State University will host a special America250 lecture in partnership with the Center for Judaic and Holocaust Studies 5 p.m., Monday, April 14, in Room 132 of DeBartolo Hall.
Andrew Porwancher, professor of history at Arizona State University and author of The Jewish World of Alexander Hamilton, will present a lecture titled, “Was Alexander Hamilton Jewish?”
The talk will explore the religious and cultural influences surrounding Alexander Hamilton, offering new perspectives on his background and the broader historical context of early America.
The event is free and open to the public.
