Indianapolis Alumni Chapter Basketball Dinner

march 11-12, 2025

The YSU men’s basketball team played Cleveland State in the semfinals of the Barbasol Horizon League Championship and came out on top with a 56-54 win. They then played Robert Morris for the championship game on ESPN. Penguin fans met at Binkley’s Kitchen & Bar before the game.

Dallas-Ft. Worth Alumni Chapter Dinner with YSU Bowling Team

The Dallas-Ft. Worth Alumni Chapter hosted the YSU bowling team for the third year in a row. The bowlers were in Arlington, TX for the PVAMU Invitational.

Alumni Basketball Lunch

Alumni and Penguin fans celebrated YSU bonds and a men’s basketball win over Oakland during the Alumni Basketball Lunch on the West Deck in Beeghly Center.

Half Century Club Celebration

Members of the class of 1974 were inducted into the Half Century Club during Homecoming weekend. President Bill Johnson and First Lady LeeAnn Johnson welcomed into their home new Half Century Club members and those who previously reached this milestone. Guests enjoyed a luncheon and reminiscing on the Pollock House patio.
