Solar Eclipse Lecture

Bring the whole family to an engaging lecture that will help you prepare for the upcoming total solar eclipse happening on April 8th! Learn about the science behind the eclipse, the significance of this once-in-a-lifetime event, the best places to see it, and how to view the event safely.

The talk will be given by Dr. Patrick Durrell, Distinguished Professor of Astronomy at YSU. Dr. Durrell was recently named the first Warren M. Young Chair of Physics and Astronomy through his work as Director of YSU’s Ward Beecher Planetarium.

6:30-7:30 p.m. Lecture and Q&A
