YSU Police Department Welcomes New K9 Officer, Barkley

The Youngstown State University Police Department is excited to announce the arrival of its newest member, K9 Barkley. Barkley continues YSU PD’s K9 program after the retirement of the previous K9, Gino, in May of last year. Barkley, a 1.5-year-old German Shepherd from Holland, joins the department as an explosives and firearm detection dog.
