YSU to host annual Pre-Health Research Symposium Oct. 17
The Youngstown State University Honors College will host its annual Pre-Health Research Symposium at 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, in the Presidential Suites of Kilcawley Center.
The event highlights research and creative projects conducted by YSU pre-health students, showcasing their work in biology, chemistry, public health, psychology and other health-related disciplines.
Coordinated by the YSU Pre-Health Advisory Committee, the symposium provides students with an opportunity to present their findings, share experiences and connect with faculty mentors and peers preparing for careers in healthcare and medicine.
Soo Jeong Yun, assistant professor of biological sciences and director of YSU’s pre-medical program, will serve as faculty coordinator.
The event is open to the public, and attendees are encouraged to explore the projects and support YSU’s emerging health professionals.
